Monkwood

It is thought that Monkwood has been in existence for over 1000 years, owned for centuries by Worcester Priory. Monkwood in Worcestershire is currently jointly owned by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. The wood is varied with a mixture of mature trees and is well known for butterflies.
